Hi,

Cliff here, newbie building my own website. I have a question: I go to Google's homepage and view page info and it says the file size is 1.16kb. Then I click on their graphic logo and it says it is 15kb. How can the homepage be only 1.16kb total with a 15kb graphic in it?

hi Cliff! I guess that's because your browser when counting size of the page didn't take into accounting any graphic or extra code which is downloaded, it count size only of HTML code which could in the source code window.

I agree with you there Denis. It is the files size of the html page only. Google does not take into account the associated files.
