After my 2years experience in SEO I found that there is a 4 types of client in SEO.

1. Client who want Traffic on site.
2. Client who want Leads.
3. Client Who want PR upgrade.
4. Client who want ranking in major search engines.

Has any of your clients demanded something new that i do not know about and i need to be updated about ?

I think PR is way over rated' but it is not a waste of time. When you are trying to decide on the value of a site you want to have link to your site then the higher the site's PR the better it is for a link to your site.

PR or Page Rank is a great indicator of the perceived quality of a website by Google due to the web pages that link to it.

I disagree with that statement since having a high PR affects the price valuation of your website and the willingness of other site owners to want to participate with you.

hi Andy...

How do you get a higher PR?  I have been getting the same standard reply, content content and more content.  I've been getting relevant content on my site and the PR is stuck at 1!  I know that the PR updates have not been on yet, and the last time that happened was in March... but still it's a trifle frustrating!

 I've found that this list is extremely official and scientific, so you should be able to refer to it and instantly identify a potential client.

@Eon

To boost PR you need links from other websites that have PR so that some of it is distributed to your website (as long as the link is not tagged as nofollow in the HTML or robots.txt).

The advice about great content is to get your site attracting natural links from places where people will mention your site such as Reddit. It is good advice but content by itself does nothing to add PR juice. However, gaining links artificially can get your PR removed by human operatives working for the search engines. If your site is red-flagged, then one of these operatives will go through a check list to decide what action to take.

Hi
One example of this type of client is that he desires immediately results, and won't pay for any work in which no obvious results can be seen in a week. No matter how lovely your SEO experience is he is basically not interested. In lieu, he will ask you to set up and run PPC campaigns. This client eventually falls short to be a SEO client but in lieu he ends up becoming your PPC client.
Overall, it is always an advantage if your business can provide quality services in both SEO and PPC. From the clients point of view, it is always better to have more options.
Thanks....
