Usually while exchanging links, i ask for contextual link. But there are site wide links, footer links, text links, banners, etc.
I request for link on the relevant page or section of the website than site wide links.
Which one is the best ?

I think it depends on the kind of site it is to a large degree but for me I prefer contextual text links from relevant pages.

there is three types of link are available
one way link.
two way link.
three way link .

one way link really good for ranking website or page rank if it is do follow.
two way link- there is another way of linking link exchange but in this technique one outbound link increase as well as inbound also increase.
three way link- three way link good if we create the link wheel.
Thanks for good and clear explanation
