I started using Face book again and managed to hook with a couple of long lost friends.

I actually started on Facebook when a young man I knew since he was a baby was killed in a car wreck. Since all of his immediate family members, and many of my family who knew him, were on Facebook it was a convenient way to get in touch with them.

Since starting on Facebook, I have connected with quite a few people I haven't seen, or seen much of, since high school. A lot of them are looking so old (eeeek).

I know what you mean. I don't recognize some people and I guess they don't recognize me either. Not just the age but the added weight. Before the Internet we only kept in touch with people that were in our vicinity. Then when we moved, we lost contact for many years. I remember my best friend from age 5 but I would not know what he looks like now.

Most of the people from high school, save for a few I have seen since, I remember them as they were in high school; it's quite a wake-up call to see pictures of several of them now.

In my life I have moved around so much and met so many people that it is hard for me to remember them all. I hardly remember people from school since I haven't thought about it for like 25 years. I would have to have regression hypnosis to work my way back I think. For example, I don't remember the names of my teachers. People from my home town that stayed there seem to remember everybody still.
