As we get back into the swing of things in the new year, we usually review how our previous efforts to make money online have performed over the past year.

For Wordpress, what you need is a nice theme. Nice-looking themes are plentiful, but to find one that is optimized to generate income from Ads is hard. Well, it was up until now! Then, with your blog set up with the theme, write valuable content around your chosen topic (use articles from eZinearticles.com for ideas on what to write). These articles are written by successful web marketers so you need to copy their style of article presentation for your blog posts.

Then spread the link to your blog by commenting on other related blogs and forums. This will get you some inbound links and traffic. Use a pen name related to your topic such as the Weight Loss Master so you can keyword link to your site in your author link in comments.

Then, with your unique-content rich blog in place, apply for the Adsense program at Google and insert your code into the blog theme. Remember to apply only after you have created a worthy content-rich website.
