I was reading the rants of the boss of EzineArticles.com on his blog and he basically hates affiliate marketers and wants them to stop writing articles based on stuff that they already published and publish totally new and long articles to his made for adsense site. Totally understandable but at the same time totally dumb to expect people that have their own blogs and sites to post their best and original content initially to his site.

What are your thoughts on this?

It depends on what he means by 'based on stuff they already published'.

If it's like too many blog/site owners who just recycle somebody else's material via some form of article spinner, or just out right steal the content, there is a valid point to that; as there is already enough litter on the internet and Google is the primary cause of it as they reward webmasters for keyword loading to advance their own adsense service.

On the other hand, if he is suggesting that once they have published an article on a subject, they feel that subject has been covered and should not be covered again, well, maybe he should take a look at wikipedia and see how much he has is common with the content on there.

I think the latter hypothesis is a bit far-fetched, but who knows. I do think that Google is, yet again, on another profit scheme by leaning so much to keyword priority and giving worthless content the green light with webmasters and bloggers who put adsense on their sites.

I am looking at other search engines to use for my own searching, and will probably end up using dogpile, as Google is becoming worthless as a search engine; I don't find Bing to be any better.
