We all are guilty of letting our sites veg or turn to Internet tumbleweed, but maybe my idea will work for you to turn around your neglected site?

I think this method works well for me since I think that over the years, I have become a master of making excuses. So maybe you can learn a good way to make excuses online by studying my blog: http://www.weight-loss-tips.ws/sorry-i-was-a-bit-lazy/

I feel like the king of neglect; many more times neglecting ideas before I even get them up and running.

I think the suggestion for my blog was a good one to get me up and running, plus it is expanding just a little into other areas with my move at hand. This helps to avoid neglecting the blog as it is broad enough to cover different aspects whether it is camping, RVs, or things in my life at hand.

I am going to expand on it with another blog, though more focused. I am in the process of buying an RV. Now nobody jump up and think I got rich all of the sudden, this is a 1970 Champion motorhome I found while, of all things, looking for a place to rent.

This RV is quite deceptive as looking at it from the outside, one would think it rolled out of the movie Deliverance. Stepping inside is a different world; it is dang clean and has not had much use and might have someone believing they are in a different RV than what they saw on the outside. It is screaming for a paint job.

The thing that makes this RV bloggable on its own, for me anyway, is that it is the first of this line which Champion built, which makes it the premiere model, and essentially a collector's item. The restoration is going to be the primary focus up front; though it is primarily the exterior that needs restoration as I mentioned that the interior is in great shape.

Now this puts a bit of a crunch on me to make this work as I am hoping to recoup the purchase and pay for the restoration by monetizing the blog. Of course, if I neglect the blog, I neglect the RV.

Presently I am still primarily concentrating on the Joe Camper blog. I have been looking at related, or semi-related, sites as satellite sites of Joe Camper; I recently purchased paintball and motorcycle sites and have links on them listing them as Joe Camper sites. The new blog is going to be a Joe Camper site as well, ideally so that any benefit I produce with new sites will also benefit the primary blog.

BTW, the new blog is going to be MyChampionRV.com

Perhaps the best apology for neglecting a site is succeeding with another site; at least you have a good excuse. Grin

It's uncanny, some people always seem to have these problems when using our sites and others don't. Weird.

It's a bit like the relationship between the time vampire and the person that just gets it. If you run an internet business that has clients/partners you will understand what I mean.
