I mean productive hours. In a day I am lucky to do more than 4 hours of highly productive work. The rest of the time when I am technically working, I am having to force my self to grudgingly get stuff done.

One problem I think is having too many parallel things that need to be done.

Now I am thinking that it may be a bad idea to try and work too many hours in a day on the same project. Maybe divide the working day up into separate unrelated-activity areas?

I suspect that this is the case with most people. So how many hours do you think you are working at full efficiency each day?

I work 10-12 hours everyday, more if there's some urgent work that needs to be completed or there's just too much work !

Not that much, 5-6 hours per day. But when I have nothing to do, I work even 9 hours.
