Recently Firefox start pushing new addon which I installed out of curiosity http://www.mywot.com/en/download/ff this plugin should show rating done by community of people who also using this plugin or their site and warn user if site have bad ratings.
Ideas sounds good and if worked well it should be nice measure about scamming and other abuse of people, but unfortunately I've come across some sites with poor ratings which surely doesn't earn to be blacklisted.
Wonder who else is actively using or pay attention to WOT ratings? As I've got feeling that right now they lack users who rate sites and that's why some resources get low ratings which they surely not deserve.

It's not bad. I decided to rate a few sites (including this one.) I think some of the ratings are inaccurate.

Maybe it's competing marketers skewing the results?

The ratings on my site were quite poor and completely untrue. Although this was not the case with my website (I believe it's the little matter of still being punished over the latest hacking), I have no doubts that biased marketing would distort the ratings.

If it's possible for the system to be exploited, it already has been.
