Please vote honestly and vent your frustrations or post your hot tip that turned your web business around.

Also, I should add that it's not worth voting here unless you are aiming to generate some income from your sites.

I do ok from my sites but i would not say there is any magic formula. I think you have just got to work hard and keep striving to improve. There is always room for improvement.

I agree, hard work is usually required to do well for most things in life.

I am sure that the way to make the most money online for most people is to sell your own products. And then you team up to cross promote your buddies products.

Sure, some people make a lot of money as affiliates but the stats that you read show that only a small percentage of affiliates make most of the money. The reason for this is that they are all competing with ppc bids and sniping each other's keywords and Advertising methods.

If you create your own product, then you bypass all this back-stabbing activity IMO. Just look at how many times Internet Marketers refer to killing or destroying their competition in a war to win the top money. Many affiliates go to extreme lengths to hide their identity via their sites to protect their affiliate business. I even read that some guys pretend to be teenage girls that worship Britney for example.

It's understandable where people see some people making circa $10 million a year when others struggle to make $1 a month.

In the past I made good money as an affiliate but now with 23 year old thin guys pretending to be obese 40+ women that lost 80% of their body fat and now are like glamor models via some fat loss pill made from a berry etc. I am thinking it's a lot better and more ethical to develop my own products.

Hey, the above examples are based on memories of reading blog posts etc. So they are just fictitious examples of what I suspect is going on in the industry.
