This one is my favorite:

"Who chatters to you, will chatter of you"

And also this one is very funny:

"A pint and a fight, a great British night".

Fun for some. It keeps the hospitals and police in work I guess and offers distractions for the robbers.

"A stitch in time saves nine."

I can't say this is my favourite proverb, but there have been times when I wished I had followed it.

I find that procrastination only gets me in trouble, while dealing with the situation immediately proves to be more beneficial to myself and others. (I know I'm stating the obvious here.)

I like the British SAS slogan:

"Who dares, wins" - a very simple but powerful statement.

Hmm let me think of my own original proverb ...

Single man, risky, suspicious. Married man, approved by woman, fascinating.

Very cognitive quote!

I know this one:

"The seagulls always follow the fishing boat".
