I think that providing templates for blogs is the easiest way to go. Then you add links to your niche sites based on the theme of the blog e.g. a car theme blog would link to your site about cars for sale. The mistake that most template authors make is to not use keyword anchor text and only link back to one web page.

Also, there may be widgets that you could code to link to sites such as stats or feed widgets.

Providing your own feeds as content for other sites must be a good way too. For example, Associated Press provide news feeds but the feeds have a link for every news snippet.
