Hi all,

I have my own company for computer hardware solution..
but i need some help from router master..

Problem : I have setup one office with dlink switch.. There are two switches..  One is with 8 slot and second is with 16 slots..and have two different connections of internet.. but one of the connection is not working proper.. so pls help how i setup this switches so I can solve this problem..

Any other guidance appreciated.. pls i want to rectify this problem quickly.. so help me soon..

As far as I know, computers on a LAN can only have one internet connection via a router. So some computers would use router A and the other computers would use router B. The 2 routers would need to have different IP addresses on the LAN. In your case, they may have the same IP address causing the problem. And the routers need separate channels to the ISP. Personally, I never heard of having 2 internet connections unless one is cable and another is say a dialup connection. I would only have one connection on a fast service and via a hardware firewall/router for an office.

These D-Link switches and routers are sometime giving problem to our computers in our small network. We had given the exact pinning... but still its not working properly sometimes. But network works fine with other company's peripherals.
