have you ever want to remind how site looks ages ago, or maybe you just appear on the web and wish to find out what was before... now you have chance to do this... e.g. do you wish to see how best known site on the web look in Oct 17, 1996  so click here and magic will do that you'll see how look Yahoo ages ago Grin

Ched's http://www.web-friend.com/ is also for some time on the web so the truth is one click away from you Grin BTW Ched, I should admit that you had pretty cool design from beginning much better than mine on http://www.sensovision.narod.ru (don't tell about this link to anyone Wink ).

so if you like here is the link to this tool Internet WayBack Machine if you find out something interesting with it please share it here.

I started 4 years ago and have saved all my sites to disk. I have built so many websites it is crazy but great fun. Maybe we can create some museum of our earliest sites to links to our newest ones to show that even the worst web-designers have some hope? When I started I didn't know anything, only that people surfed randomly on the web and clicked on banners. My site was state of the art with animations, clip-art, cool backgrounds and whacky fonts. LOL

I've been using the internet since I was 10. I guess that would make my experience 7+ years then, wouldn't it?

Anyway, check out this really old (October 23, 1996) ugly version of tripod.

It's in the back of my head, I just don't remember it as well as Yahoo's old site.

I've got some feedbacks about site looking ghotic with a glowing lamp(which are currntly on the main site)  Grin have no clue why they think so...

Not too bad, also it reminds me of a site I did last year. Maybe the images are crucial to that unforgettable experience?

I like to use a black background. It gives great contrast on a TFT monitor for green, red, orange, purple, brown and blue even though it's not conventional. Imagine the flack you'd get for saying "this site is best viewed on high-res TFT monitor". LOL
