It would be interesting to hear what search engine you're using as your main one, personally I'm using ATW (previously I've used GoogleTooblar) sometimes I also use hotbot but it's really rare that I'm going somwhere else but ATW or Google(I'm using it when ATW failed).
You maybe also interested in this thread which is dedicated to various toolbars.

Google's pretty much the only search engine I use. I like the results, it's fast, and I like the general layout (There's not a bunch of clutter everywhere, it's easy to find what you're looking for). I don't actually use the Google toolbar... I've never tried ATW either.

BTW you should try them seriously it's very promising search engine IMHO.

Nah see, that's where you're wrong. I'm not human. Azn

I will, however, consider trying ATW within the next 20 years of my life. So you better start taking Alluna now. Evil

I use generally Telescope Search for my searches because it searches editable multiple search engines, ranks the results according to relevance and it verifies the page to insure it has content that matches the search. Of course I sometimes do a search in Google using the CustomizeGoogle Firefox extension because when I get the Google results and also have a link listing at the top of the page that if I click on one of the links it automatically does the same search in each of these search engines....
Yahoo, Ask Jeeves, AllTheWeb, Teoma, MSN, Lycos, Technorati, Feedster, Bloglines, Altavista

I can also remove ads from Google and many other features. If you are interested in Telescope Search you can get it from...
http://www.alkalisoftware.ca/

and the CustomizeGoogle extension is from...

I miss Infoseek. That was the best search engine. Then again, that was from a simpler time.

Google 95%, followed by Yahoo and MSN. Meta search if disparate.

I have to say google, it's great for search and great for income! I like the Yahoo portal and I might use MSN if I didn't get to Yahoo first.

Spider-wise, Googlebot and MSNbot are almost equal in ferocity in consuming my bandwidth. The other engines just have a nibble here and there.

My favourite is Alltheweb - it's got similar looks to Google, though.
