I recently developed a tool to test and optimise sales pages and Ads. But I have quickly realized that I don't have enough traffic to my pages to get good results.

So my next project is to develop a network of traffic capture sites. This will rely heavily on automation to keep the sites fuelled with fresh content. The content will be built by visitors to the sites.

The first step is to develop an optimal template. I have just about done this already.

Then create a site generator tool.

Then put together a set of keywords to target.

Then buy domain names for the sites.

Finally get the sites live and working.

If I put this entire system on a DVD so you can do the same, what would you be willing to pay for a copy?

i guess it depends on the kind of sites they own , if they have alot of sales then i imagine you could get more money per copy
but i guess to do it that way you would have to contact sites and price accordingly

although i wouldnt personally buy it id be happy to pay around £20-30  for software , but thats probley not enough for the work you put in to designing it
you could always contact high sales sites and try at a higher price then when your happy with what you've earnt take more of a back seat and list it at a lower price

I am actually planning to create multiple websites, maybe 100 on different domains and create automatically updating content sites to drive traffic to sales pages. It has got nothing to do with partnering with existing sites.

£20-30  for the software may be reasonable. For the USA, this translates to $50-$80 per disc.

I got the idea from a DVD I watched today from a millionaire marketer that has a similar network to drive traffic.

The subjects are based on the most popular topics that are searched on such as make money, health, lose weight, find love etc. Then, the content comes from articles that visitors submit, not articles that are scraped.

So I think this is a good way to build a traffic network. I already did it in a small way with blogs and directories, but now I learned that a millionaire did this and I want to make a few 100K more to become a millionaire myself, so I decided to copy what he did.

Since software is involved and I am a software specialist, I thought that it would be a good idea to market the DVD so others can use my software to build their traffic network too.

So is $75 a reasonable price or too cheap?

Thanks for the feedback Carpmad, the DVD will be produced and sold at a fixed price. Even though some people can afford more, in marketing I think that the volume of sales that particular affiliates generate is most important.

I got the code running here: http://www.urgentclick.com/webmaster-articles/

This site is capable of unlimited automatic growth (until you hit the limits of your database capacity). You can see that visitors who read the articles are encouraged to publish their own article that will be published after they submit it.

Also, the script optimizes the urls and stuff.

The home page links to up to 50 articles in a random selection from however many articles are in the database.

I still have some work to do to block spam, and some minor tweaks to the template, but it is basically working with a couple of "seed" articles to show you what it is like.

Also, there are various custom elements that you can change in a config file such as the text used in the main navigation links to suit your site's topic.

This script should work well on a site that is away from the Internet Marketing and Webmaster niche where ordinary people will be offered the chance to be a publisher e.g. a sports or parenting site. It would be a bit like a forum but without the loss of focus that happens when discussions are permitted.

I will be changing my lottery blog over to use this software since I got bored posting to it. I will let the visitors build the site instead. I already employ a couple of robots to post to that site, so it would be a good balance to get some human input.  Grin

p.s. I will offer a 48 hour special deal soon where YOU can buy my automatic website content builder for a deeply discounted price. Probably on Friday. Stay tuned ...

p.p.s I may even throw in a free report about how I made $100's from a website about wood where I knew next to nothing about the subject and built it from free content that other people produced over 90 years ago and it is still making me money, even though I did no work on the site after setting it up about 2 years ago. To take this ridiculous example a stage further I have even set up a site about soil (dirt) to show just how silly it can get. But I admit to being too embarrassed to develop this site. But I may try my new tool with the soil site since I didn't have it in me to write much content about soil.  Cheesy

These are not the craziest sites I have set up though. More on that another time.

UPDATE --

I have now completed the script with an admin area where you can manually approve and edit article submissions if that is what you want to do. Otherwise, you can leave it to run on auto-pilot mode to build your site. I have added spam-blocking code to eliminate the amount of spam submissions you might get. So with this script, you can set up a website that builds itself 24/7 with highly optimized search engine friendly pages written by human authors.

I don't know what level of traffic each article may generate, but say it's 10 visitors per day and you get 1 new article submitted per day, that would be a month on month visitor growth rate of about 300 highly targeted visitors. But I would expect this growth to become exponential rather than linear as the hundreds of pages of fresh content is picked up by the search engines. And the traffic should be highly targeted to the topic of your site and funnel towards your home page where you convert the visitors to cash.

I decided to take this tool a stage further to ensure that it sells. It is now a mini site generator that can result in an auto-building site.

What gave me the idea for this was all the millions of dead blogs where people post maybe 20/30 articles to their blog and give up on it. Also, there is the situation of the blogger that is under pressure to post daily and gets ill as a consequence.

My tool is almost like a static blog generator but without the label of being a blog. So it is fine to only build a handful of content pages with it and let it work on auto-pilot for years to come after some initial effort.

Basically, my tool creates a highly optimized site that encourages never ending visitor-contributed posts to occur but with near zero involvement from the webmaster. And it is focussed on driving free, highly-targeted visitor traffic to your home page. And there is more to it, but you will have to wait to find out what the more is.

I am looking forward to showing you this tool in action very soon. Already, I am making money from this script after replacing a time-consuming blog with it.

There are so many ways to quickly create content-based sites that will be traffic magnets with this concept. It will take me quite some time to produce educational videos and tutorials on the subject, but I will be showing you a concrete example of a site very soon.

Update --

I have posted a site link in the website reviews area of the forum for the site where I am using this script.

The privacy policy site will be one of the hub sites of the traffic network. Like the queen bee of the hive.
