I picked $100,000 because at least with that I could get some stuff that I could use for my other hobbies and of course I could by a new domain name and start over. However a new house, wood working tools and lapidary tools would be good additions.

I think a trip to space would be well worth it. My second pick would be $100K, but I think it's a bad trade-off as far as meeting my own needs is concerned.

I select none of above as I'm really tied emotionally to my sites, as thanks to them I've met many friends.

Though the favorite celebrity in bed was enticing Grin, I chose the $100,000; I could always hire a celeb look-alike. Cheesy

I went for the cash since there is so much that can be done with it and new sites can always be built.

So owning a community site is like owning a pet or a child where you can't let it go? Something to consider if you are planning to start a community site.

Well said, Terron!

you're right, Andy, and if I would have some popular site which would be pure informational one I would certianly choose money as this way I could easily build new site and got good promotion for it, but with communities you have responsibilities and it couldn't be just sold like other sites in my opinion.

BTW I just thought that taking money isn't best option actually, Rachel did very wisely, she take a space trip which later could be sold for much higher cash to someone Grin
