Cooliris Previews is an extension that when you come across a link it places a small magnifying glass icon by it which you can click on and it pops up a window that has the page for the link in it. Don't sound like much does it? Wink However it really shines when you are sy looking at a frequently asked questions page because as you move your cursor to different questions the image in the window changes (no clicking) the same happens when you are looking a search engine results. BTW the window is not really there as it is not in your taskbar and when you click on the browser page the window goes away. Check it out at....

looks like an interesting extension, I've installed it to see how it works for me, but guess I'll need to tweak settings a bit as right now it seems to offer preview of almost any site I put my mouse over. Guess I'll disable it for all sites and leave it for search engines.
Thanks for sharing it!

I just ignore the icon until I see a link I want to preview.

After some use I find it annoying to see on sites I've got used to surf in own way, so I disable it to appear only on sites I've explicitly allowed it to appear(Search engines)

Denis, what do you see on the screen that is annoying to you? All I see is the small icon next to the link, when I hover over a link, unless I click on the icon.

I do note that here in the forum the icon appears on top of the buttons and sometimes when I click on a button the preview window opens instead of the link but I only see that here.

this is what I find annoying Smiley I also seems to leave mouse on the link sometimes(just on this icon) which open preview window when I click in time when I wish to open normal window.

exactly and I've found it in few other sites. So decide to left it enabled for search engines only.

Denis I changed the location of the icon by deselecting in the preferences "Show mouseover icon at end of link".
