Guaranteed top 10 rankings! or not?

I have been going through countless amounts of pages today seeing whats on offer for website submission. as i build and host website customers pay me to submit there website and aim to get good rankings. So i have to see whats on the market and test before i put my customers money on the table.

I have come across a number of website now offering guaranteed top 10 rankings on Google. Lets face it that is just impossible. and really it is.

No you reckon. Some people can manipulate the system.

Ok lets say i was conned into thinking it could be done and i approach  just one of these company's for this guaranteed top 10 Google rankings.

The questions they would want would be

what category. i.e. what type of website is it.   (mug printing say for example)

what key words would you use            (mugs, sublimation, printing, uk, mug designs)

is your website xhtml                   (yes)

accessible                                   (yes)


Ok then mr O Y Bother we will accept you website and get you guaranteed top 10 Google rankings.

Oh  by the way mr company i have 11 of these websites to submit all the same!

So now can you really guarantee me top 10 Google rankings.


There are so many of these company's saying they can do this. but how can you if there are more then 10 company's the same all wanting guaranteed top 10 Google rankings.

"Guaranteed" usually means that a company offers a money back guarantee if you are not satisfied. Most people don't claim their money back for many reasons, so even if a company cannot deliver what they promise, they can still offer a guarantee.

It is possible to get most sites top 10 rankings. You just need to beat the competition with the various ranking factors for one of their keywords. Most sites will have many keywords that they would like to have in the top 10, so getting one keyword in the top 10 achieves the goal.

I feel, it has a lot to do with the type of a website and keywords. If your website niche is not highly competitive and you are targeting long-tail keywords, i feel it is not a hard task to do. About Guaranteed top 10 rankings!, It is just another ad. It is looking an ad too now, isn't it?
