That is great. I have seen a great deal of imaginative solutions brought forward since this issue with global warming came to a head. This is definitely one of them.

I don't see any way a kite could have much effect on such a large ship.

I think they said it can save up to 10% on fuel bills and they are planning to make much bigger versions.

If you fly a stunt kite you can appreciate how much force they can generate as you move it around in the sky. Kite boarders get lifted into the air with kites.

These kites are more efficient than sails since they are high up in the sky where the wind is strongest.

Can't wait for the Virgin Atlantic kite passenger ship  Grin
