I went to a true Geek's house once and wish I took my camera. He bought computer junk from an auction to trade and literally filled his mom's house with the stuff. We had to step over system units to get into rooms. It was unbelievable. In his room, 90% of the floor was covered in computer equipment and some bits were on the bed.

I used to collect some old computer stuff but this guy was way out of my league. My wife used to call my system units my Metal.  Grin

Now my mom is storing the last remaining valuable metal e.g. Mac, Atari, Spectrum and IBM PC. I should sell them before they get trashed.

p.s. in Japan, old computer equipment is worse than worthless, you have to pay to dispose of it. Also, now glass screen monitors are not welcome in shops that buy second hand equipment. They refuse them at any price.

I think one true sign of a computer Geek is the system unit on the top of the desk and a coding reference manual in close range.

thanks for sharing this collection, Manu! now I can tell to my girlfriend that my workplace is pretty normal comparing to other people Smiley

Where would you tattoo these tags:

Code:
<div>
<b>Ooh, what do we have here!</b>
</div>
<footer>
<span>...</span>
</footer>
</body>
