This year, on my birthday, we had a record number of visitors:

Most Online Ever: 410 (February 10, 2007, 10:40:10 PM)

Next year, I want to invite 1000+ online guests to my virtual birthday party. I will arrange for the drinks and food to be posted online ready for download and streaming band music and stuff.

Just mark February 10th 2008 in your diary and maybe Denis could mark this event in the calendar?

Tell all your friends and email your list to leave this date free for the 1000+ online party!

Best regards,

Andy

Great! I need to put some thought into creating a virtual party web page. Maybe an image of a room with guests in it according to who visits the page, streaming audio and a virtual bar with drinks to select and snacks.

My online birthday party is fast approaching (10th February) so I need to book a venue. It needs to be a building capable of holding at least 1000 guests. Any existing building on Earth is OK.

I just need your suggestions, cost and location is no problem since this is a virtual online party. You can attend for free and drink and eat as much as you like. Please suggest any building you think is suitable...

I was going to make an image of the party area, that's why I was asking about a building. I was going to find a building on Google Earth and modify it. Wink

There's always the Empire State building, the leaning tower of Pisa, or the Taipei 101. Wink
Maybe we want smaller buildings... like a fancy restaurant or a crazy club in Germany.

I was thinking of something along the lines of Thanjavur Temple or the Taj Mahal, but decided against it since it could be viewed as sacreligious. I have always loved the architecture, though.

But it's your birthday, so what's your idea?

A hotel maybe? I found one model that looks quite nice with enough space for the guests.

How about a haunted hotel; like in an old dark house mystery, or in The Shining? Grin

Well, since there are 1000+ guests expected, there would need to be some way to clear space to allow newly arriving guests to enter.

The hotel I had in mind has an outdoor pool area and several floors inside to cater for all tastes. I guess the basement area could be turned into some king of dungeon or haunted/spooky area?
