If your want to make tutorials or record your screen for whatever, Camtasia Studio is pretty good Windows software. TechSmith is having a promotion by giving away the older version it is fully licensed....

It's amazing how many people are spreading the word about this. All the marketing gurus and on blogs and forums. It must be some "hot" software!

Actually, I downloaded and tried this software before it was mentioned here. It works fine and maybe lacking the url redirect feature that many marketers like i.e. the video re-directs to a web site after playing.

Also, I don't know if the latest version of Wink is maybe better than this?

It seem quite easy to use according to the people I have talked to that have tried it and a lot of people have bought the software and told their friends about it so now that it is free they are telling everyone to get it. There is also a savings for the new version if you upgrade so a lot of people are getting the free version and then upgrading.

I don't know anything about that.

I haven't had much success with Wink but I have seen some great results from Wink so it must just be I haven't found the combination or tried enough.

Camtasia Studio 3.1 provides an intuitive means of creating application demonstrations and presentations, but it's not for very complex training and coursework.
