But I earn peanuts compared to some people. What they do is find some way to make money via affiliate programs and then they throw money at Adwords to drive traffic to the page that is profitable. The sums of money involved are huge i.e. circa $100,000 per month spend. And it seems to be paid via an AMEX card! I have visited your site and it seems good. Anyway we can make through affiliate site if were very good in getting people to sign up with us. But we can also make money through adsense.

I make money from Adsense too, but it seems to require huge visitor traffic to make much money e.g. to make $100 per month, I need about 1,000 unique visitors per day. That kind of traffic would cost about $100 per day with PPC. $100 can be made from say 3 Affiliate product sales per month depending on CTR etc.

That's why you don't see top Bloggers recommending Adsense for new sites since you won't make much money and you are encouraging your visitors to click away from your site when you need to build up your visitor base and get them coming back after subscribing to the RSS feed etc.

It is very tempting to cut and paste the Adsense to your site though! My tip is to resist until you have good levels of traffic to your site such as around 100 uniques per day.

I've tried a lot paid per surveys to make money online but non of them have paid me. Don't try typeinternational and awsurveys.com they're scams.
