Any idea which is the best host to recommend as an affiliate?

The qualities I look for are:
* cheap, high-quality hosting with no big complaints published to the web, only praise
* LAMP - based servers
* perfect tracking of affiliate generated sales

I recommend Host Gator which I mostly use but only got 1 sale commission in about 2 years, so I wonder about if they are tracking my referrals correctly. I wouldn't be happy to recommend any hosting that I don't personally use.

I could resell hosting but the customer support issue is off-putting.

If you are still looking for reliable and high paying affiliate host, you can consider our Webhosting UK affiliate program at : http://www.webhosting.uk.com/affiliates/  We offer you 20% commission on each sale. No hidden fees Smiley

You get what you deserve for your hard work.

For UK hosting I recommend www.HeartInternet.co.uk who I have been a long term customer of and for International Affiliates I am recommending Kiosk.ws, you can check out the Ads on the site that I host with them here: http://www.adscube.com/ It's a multi-tier program so I am personally required to help you succeed as well as the hosting company.

I asked the question over a month ago, it's not like I ask a question and then answer it soon afterwards.

Also, since you came along and recommended (advertised) your own product, I thought I should chip in with a couple that I personally use/used for hosting.

Andy doesn't need the defense, but I'm going to jump in here anyway.
Making accusations against other members of the forum is not going to help promote your business. At the very best it comes across as being immature. No one wants to do business with someone who sounds like he's been playing too much WoW.

Benefits come with being an active member of the forums. One of those benefits is fellowship. If you spend enough time here you'll realize that our most active members are very interested in helping each other and do not take this forum for granted.

If you want to stick around, please do. Just keep in mind that this forum is a bit different from the others.

No problem, welcome to the community. It just seemed like you were mostly interested in spamming since most people include their Ads in their signature, but you went straight for the post content  Wink We have our fair share of fun here too.

Oh... then my apologies. Unfortunately, it is too easy to misinterpret the tone of a post these days. I was near positive you were being insulting. It is easy to be suspicious of newcomers (which is why I said in my previous post that if you stick around, people will learn to trust you and vice-versa.)

At least that's settled. Welcome to the community. We're glad to have you here. Wink

It can if it's being overused or placed in inappropriate categories. If it's irrelevant to the discussion it should be placed within your signature. Our forum has an Advertising Marketplace where all business ads can be placed for free. If you are worried about your comment being seen as spam, you can message Sensovision or myself beforehand and we'll let you know either way.

From the threads at other forums I can say that hostgator.com offer one of the best affiliate programs in the indistry, a2hosting.com that I'm using now also offer a beneficial affiliate program.
