I am wanting to write a filter that will send email I receive that contains multiple email addresses to my trash folder, but I don't know how to create such a filter. Any ideas?

Maybe create a filter rule based on the separator character that is used between the names in the "To" field? If it's a comma then it should be easy.

I tried your suggestion and it doesn't seem to work, but thanks anyway Andy.

Don, what mailer program you're using? I believe that Thunderbird if you mark few mails like this will learn to send them to trash for you, at least it filter out 99% of spam in my case and I never wrote any custom filters for this needs, only for sorting mails.

I do use Thunderbird Denis but it doesn't catch enough of the forwarded spam. It seems the spammers are smarter than Thunderbird at this point in time.

strange, guess your e-mail was just exposed somewhere and you did get kind of SPAM I doesn't get. If you wish forward me your spam mail with headers so I can see it, maybe when I check it out I'll find some idea how to filter it, as right now it's hard to think.
