Well I have been a long term customer of these guys but as soon as I tried to host a previously purchased dot com domain with them it all went pear-shaped. I seem to have to keep sending support requests to make progress.

I am using them since they are very cheap UK-based hosts and I can resell the hosting. But this experience has been bad. But when I bought the domain name + hosting before it all went smoothly.

So far I haven't found any alternative i.e. UK reseller hosting that doesn't cost me a monthly fee.

Well, finally the site is up and I never even got the usual account details email. I looked at a previous account details email for another site to deduce my login password and other settings.

It took over 1 week following their payment processor not collecting enough information to charge my credit card to get the hosting set up and me having to push the support staff to give me vital information such as nameserver details. And, they only ever gave me the minimum information i.e. only what I asked for and no more. I didn't post many support requests since I am in a different time zone so each one took 24 hours to go around the loop.

I would still use them for UK hosting since they are running on Pipex which is a respectable back bone company and I don't know of any alternative at the low price point with anonymous reseller capability.

But wherever possible, I host in the USA (I didn't try other countries hosting). The service and performance is leagues away from the UK. For example, I just registered a new domain name and it is showing the parked web site almost instantly. And I know from previous experience that I can easily edit the nameservers via the control panel and switch the hosting within minutes/hours not over 1 week!

Another negative thing I read about the UK Internet experience is that it has one of the slowest broadband services in the world. I think it was mentioned that countries that are still developing such as Poland have faster broadband. When I lived in the UK I had 300K broadband and a very low bandwidth limit. 2 movie downloads could exceed your monthly allowance.
