I bought a new book a few days ago and thought you might like to look at the website that goes along with it.

The link points to the website forum (the part where everyone tests them selves).

You might want to think about buying the book though. Its fantastic and can be found on Amazon.
BTW the book is called "How to cheat in Photoshop".

I wasn't able to check it as on mobile now, can you tell what's this book about e.g. what general topics it's covering and does it aimed on novice or experts?

If say truth I'm not going to buy this book anyway, but one of my friend recently asked me to suggest good book. Personally I may be interested in book about GIMP, but those I've saw didn't look interesting to me.

It's aimed at the novice, but isn't as long winded as most books. It tries to show you the fastest way to get good results and is more about making photo montages that look real, than about anything else. The book also comes with it's own DVD and you get all the artwork from inside the book on disk. You also get video clips on the DVD showing you how things are done.

It's very good. It shows you the easies way cut things out, do light and shadow, blend things together, make layer masks, do displacement maps and even turn silver into gold. I like the part where the book takes a full frontal face of Jean-Luc Picard and uses the liquefy filter to turn the head to a side view.

It sounds like a great book. I once had some fun transposing my wife's face onto Liz Hurley's body but had to do it in monochrome. I don't have PhotoShop though.

The sample page gives you an idea of what the rest of the book is like.
