Favorite Online Tools

What's your favorite online tool that is very quick and easy to use. It could be for any purpose such as looking up a domain name or calculating the repayment period of a loan. Any, really simple but darned useful online tool should be listed.

whois(when I used windows, now I use internal tool for it), ping or view page from different geo locations, color picker(in the past, now I use small built-in application), keyword analyzer(also in the past as I doesn't care much about this now).
Can't think about anything else right now, maybe I didn't used online tools that much.

Thanks for your list Denis. But apart from webmaster related tools I would rather provide non-webmaster tools for the general public. Examples are: Decision maker, lottery number picker, time in another part of the world, time before DonEc copies my idea predictor etc.

You took too long Andy, as I am already offering free non-webmaster tools to the general public.

This is confirmation of your insecurity whatever your name is. Your site may well offer a competitive product but is your site an authority site? In almost all cases, somebody has done it before but with limited success.

You should consider starting your own topics rather than piggy-backing on my posts to advertise your site. Why don't you post about your own stuff as a starter post rather than trying to outdo me so often? You asked for it!

Lottery picker is good but I doesn't see any which suit my needs so going to write it myself one day(but maybe it would be not just picker but rather tool to keep statistic of falling numbers).
time tools are also utilized a lot on the web but if you manage to collect all tools in one place maybe this would be a solution which would work.

Some of the tools will be a bit of a joke such as the decision maker. As with lottery number pickers, the trick is to make the page like an animated number crunching machine so it is fun to use even if the numbers are purely random. I guess you were thinking about some kind of statistical program that takes into account prior trends of lucky numbers? I thought about doing this too but I am one of the people believing it is pure chance.

Another idea may be to encourage scripts to be submitted by any other programmers or flash designers and give them credit on the site.

Anyway, the site will be a while in the making while I capture all my actions to video for my "how I build a new site" dvd.

I will probably convert my color blender code to php if possible and host that on line to help with picking color schemes. There a quite a few things that could be done with graphics and php such as 3D box makers for products or CD cases etc. Also, image sanitizing for posting online i.e. resize, crop and compress. There are lots of financial tools that I have already coded before such as time to repay a loan etc.

Time is a great topic too. There are so many time-related things to calculate.

Also, health such as BMI, life-span and calories etc.
