We have been observing for the last few months, but the search results on Google are reaching a stagnation phase.

Google is trying its best to block genuine websites/forums/blogs to score top rankings on Google. They have placed filters specifically to promote their adwords ( Main Revenue Channel).

Yahoo results are much updated, and effective. Please let us know your thoughts regarding same.

Do share your strange experiences with different search engines if any.  Do search for latest music, software, news on Google, Yahoo, and MSN and let me know if anybody else observed stagnation in Google results Tongue

I haven't found this. Even new sites that I built rank well. I have had visits to a credit card site for search terms involving the latest credit card brands which you would expect seos to kill for.

I just searched on "tony blair" and got news that was 1 hour old.

I have no idea what the latest music is so don't know what to search on for that. But that would be an ultra-competitive market where I wouldn't expect to compete unless I was big in the music business.

For software, I would simply give my product a unique name so it's easy to rank high e.g. my latest software ranks #1 for Site Sugu

Another tip: when starting a blog, use a unique name so you easily rank #1 too. If your real name is unusual, you wouldn't need to do this though.

Thats true for those old websites created in between 2005-2006. You wont be able to spot new websites on Google.  Tongue

When old websites upload new pages they immediately score higher rankings, but new websites enter sandbox if they try to   optimize their website  Tongue

Hasn't it always been the case that new website were getting a good ranking in Yahoo and MSN faster than in Google?
I hear that today's ranking in Yahoo was tomorrow ranking in Google.
