I found this deal and coppied it here to pass it on.
Use code 07APRRA to purchase the digital download version of Linspire 5.0 for free.

http://www.linspire.com/five0_digital.php

Digital Download Includes:
* Digital version of the Linspire Live-0 operating system
* Digital version of Linspire Extras
* World class eSupport (Provided in English)
* My.Linspire account (forums and FAQs)
Value $49.95.

The Linkspire site is overwhelmed right now and there is a waiting list to download of 1606 people waiting for a chance to download so I am waiting until the deal expires to download mine but I did go and use the code and Linspire is now in my products page waiting for me to download it.

I tried to contact support and here is the message I got....
In order to better serve you, the Linspire Support website is down for planned upgrades and maintenance. We expect the new system to be operational by April 16th, 2007 so you can submit support tickets again. (In the meantime, you may benefit from our helpful community at http://forum.freespire.org)

However none of the problems kept me from using the code and getting on the list to get the free Linspire. It is just a matter of waiting to download it.

You should never have to pay for linux since linux is free or should be free. Any distribution that charges you money to download linux from their site is a ripoff. Yes some distros may charge you for the boxed version but thats because you are paying for the box, the manual if it comes with one, and the labor it took to burn you a cd of the linux distro. But to download linux, it just doesnt seem right to charge for it reguardless if you have a coupon code or not. Thats how i feel. But that is just my opinion. I am a pretty big fan of SuSe Linux. I have been sticking with one of the older versions though. The last new release wasnt so great. But im sure they will continue to release good distributions in the future. Smiley

Really as I understand it the $49.00 you normally pay is for the CNR service and the support.
