Hello everyone:

 I created a pop-up menu in Fireworks 8 (FW), then I export pop-up menu (created in CSS file and related JavaScript file ) to Dreamwaver 8 (DW). the sub-menu display when user mouse-over the parent menu. I want to change sub-menu display when user click on the parent menu and the sub_menu won't cover up next menu item

My questions are
a) can this behavior modification be done in FW?

b) I tried change behavior to onClick in DW behavior pane, but the sub_menu still cover up the next menu item?
For example if you click on side navigation bar departments link

Please review  http://www.cuj06.com/psme/ give me some suggestions on how to adjust submenu display so it won't cover up next menu item. Thanks!

How about positioning the 2nd level pop to show off to the right instead of below (and maybe in a smaller font)

 Hello John:

  Thanks for replying my post. I had pop-up menu at right at first try, but it will cover up the other content on the right hand side.

   I am still searching for solutions.

Try a wider left margin for your "masterContainer" div (maybe 225px). On the test page I'm looking at, your've got enough screen space(resolution).

Along with an increased left margin, try some left padding for your content contained in the  masterContainer.

Drop/replace your current ID's with these 3 in your home.css to test:

   #masterContainer {
   top: 123px;
   left: 225px;
   border: 0;
   border-left: 1px solid #FF9933;
   border-bottom: 1px solid #FF9933;
   width: 695px;
   background-color: #fff;
   position: absolute;
   }

   #content {
   padding-left: 50px;
   }

    #content p{
   padding-left: 25px;
   }

You'll have to adjust your img. slideshow positioning.
