I get tons of spam in English but now it's worse, I'm getting spam in Arabic, Japanese and something containing "jemand hat Ihnen einen priv. Gruss geschickt!"

Sometimes it's a challenge to even read the text. The spammers are getting really desperate now.

What's the most bizarre spam you received?

Here is my true testimony: I received an email
from a stranger. I evaluated it and re-evaluated.
I had to read it 3 times to believe it and
fully understand it. I thought it was out
of this world (The best to ever cross my desktop).
But then again, it sounded too good to be true.

BUT WHAT IF IT WASN'T?  So, I decided to give it a
shot. But this time, I was NOT going to tell anyone
I knew about it, until I knew for SURE that it worked.
(If it didn't work, no one would know I even tried).
Sure enough, I signed up and THOUGHT that I had sent
out 10,000 emails (They provide 24,000 - WITH THE
PROGRAM every month) but mistakenly I didn't send
anything out. This morning I woke up, went to check
my email, and to my surprise, there were 2 strangers

I went months without a single spam and I signed up for something ONCE several months ago... Now I receive more than 20 spams a day, 25%+ of which are sexually related. I can't stand it, it's terrible.

The only reason I haven't changed my e-mail is because I promised everyone I wouldn't. I'm notorious for changing my e-mail often. Sometimes I'll change it every month, or even every week.

It has gotten so bad that people stopped writing me because of it.

So, I've had this e-mail for more than 6 months and I promised everyone I wouldn't change it again... I guess if I had a good reason this time, people would understand, but it's a big hassle.

wow that's pretty much for one mailbox... as I've get about 10 mails daily but in total... on all my mailboxes.
As for changing mailbox, it's not such scary thing... just write a notification about new e-mail to everyone in your address book, this usually work good. Also you can redirect some letters from old mailbox and maybe install some mail filters which will filter most of SPAM.

I get around 100 spams per day. My spam filters are working hard so only about 80% of my emails that I see are spam. I haven't emptied my deleted email box for a few days so has 4612 emails in it. I get added to a new opt-in list almost daily now.

I also get people spoofing my email address but only about 4 per day.

Maybe I should change my email addresses?

and talking seriously I would suggest you to change your mails and remove every mail from your web site... and replace them with online forms which will send you mail and keep your address private.

You know what I used to do? Give out my "junk" e-mail when signing up anywhere... What was funny was the fact that my "junk" e-mail address barely ever receives spam, and my "personal" e-mail is loaded.

Oh well, Denis is right. I'm just going to change it, there's no point in this hassle.

At work I have an account that is used for all of our domains. I get over 50 a day for that one account. It is enough to drive me nuts. My yahoo account, which is what I use whenever I need to sign up for something that requires an email address, get over 200 a day. Thankfully it goes into the spam folder and I delete it before I even look at it.

As for me i get around 50 spam mails per day too.
I installed once spam pal and it worked very well with me.
I get such mails from my african friends but also such placebo and "how to change size from some parts of my body" mails and spam in different languages (korean,japanese,english,german , russian and whatever..)
