I was recently involved in a rumor (I didn't spread it, I just heard it Cool ) where it's been stated the Flash has 'security holes'.

Have any of you guys/girls heard about this? If so, do you think it's true and what is it all about?

I could probably just research this on my own, but I thought it was interesting enough to shoot out to everyone here in the forums.

IMHO it depends for what purposes Flash is used for on your site... if it's essential part of your site and all scripts are built in using action script I could assume that maybe there some holes exist, actually any program or script have them... but some are easy to exploit and some don't... as for Flash you're the first person from whom I hear this rumor...

Hmm... My thoughts exactly. I don't know how made up this rumor, but it seems sort of weird anyway.

I think some flash-hater made it, hahaha Shocked

The link to the page you refer to no longer exists or has been moved.

I am not aware of any security holes in flash. The only thing I know of that might possibly cause any kind of security hole in flash is the improper use of an action script within a flash file.

Can you provide a working link that has any news regarding this issue?
