In case you had your head buried in sand (possibly held down there by the boot of a marketing guru) you may like to know that the hottest way for the average person to get a slice of internet income action is via a blog.

If you don't believe me just check out problogger.net or others like that that make a living by blogging.

Blogging is a way to easily publish your own unique content to the web that will be found by search engines, rss subscribers and tag hunters due to state of the art software and the ability to optimize your content to be found. Now you don't need search engines so much, you just need a way to throw your content at the web and have the people pull you towards them.

Forget about making money, you have to have products or content first. Now it's easy to publish content but you may already be too late. Now Video is all the rage. At least get started with text.

The "state of the art" software is easy and free to get hold of, just download from Wordpress.org - one of a few choices of pros.

Next you need an optimized theme for your blog that cuts out the designer garbage of nested tables and corner-fill graphics and delivers the content to hungry search engines and feed readers in a simple to grab and index way. Content is king. Go deliver your unique content to the billions.... Forget typing into subscription forms and payment forms. Type your knowledge into a blog post submit form (your own blog).

Don't forget before start blogging. thinking what hosting do you want to use. the free one or the paid one? For the free one you can have 2 good option.
1. wordpress.com
2. blogger.com
My recommendation, it is better use the paid one. since you have great ability to customize and also you can add plug in you want.

I never recommend the free ones unless you are playing with blogging. They own your content and restrict you on what you can do - these should be reasons enough to avoid them. Also, wordpress doesn't allow commercial blogs to use their free hosting which is right IHMO.

My preference is to always go for cheap paid hosting to give you the freedom to do what you like and have full control over your content and simply credit Wordpress with a link in the footer of your site. You can see how I do this here

yeah if you compare with wordpress.com.  however, don't you know there is a shared ravenue free blogging hosting? where the provider will promise you shared ravenue on ads for the blogger.

Unfortunately I forget the url of the service, maybe you can tell me.
I know there is one like blogit.com, but this is not for free use and not ads shared revenue. blogit.com have different concept.
