Find the longest domain name for a website listed in the top 10 of Google or Yahoo! whose topic is about getting top 10 search engine positions.

The search term must not include the domain name but must be related to the topic I mentioned and not use quotes in the search string.

e.g. a search for Fred's home page would not be valid, but a search for Fred's guide to high search engine positions would be valid.

Please quote:

1. Your search phrase
2. search engine
3. domain name
4. position in search results

You have 1 week until the stroke of midnight Weblamp time on Sunday!

Looking forward to your entries....

You understood correctly. Some reasonably long domain names there  Wink

p.s. If you are 1st to suggest a domain name, you would "own it" so no need to try and get higher ranking with different seaches. However, if other people had equal length domain names then the higher ranking one may be judged the winner.

p.p.s. did you try the non-abbreviated form of seo in your search?

Hi Manu!
it's nice to see we've got first participant Smiley
I've also tried to find longest domain but it couldn't be used in competition as keywords used to find it appear in domain itself, anyway I wasn't going to give prize to myself anyway Grin
so wish luck to all participants!

And here is my domain:
search term - longest domain
engine - google.com
thelongestdomainnameintheworldandthensomeandthensomemoreandmore.com
BTW it have DNS error so it seems not to be used anyway Smiley

PS I've failed to find longer domain than Manu did, at least till now, good work, man! Wink

I think domain names are limited to 64 characters so there has to be some rules to make it tricky to find the longest one.

p.s. do you get the humour behind the rules i.e. long domain names and seo don't normally mix very well.

For example, how well do you think google would rank a domain name like:

how-to-beat-the-google-algorithm.com ?

btw Senso, your find is really funny  Grin
