I use ipowerweb. So far I've been really pleased. They've been recommended by many people, and they've managed to stand up to my expectations.

but IMHO they not actually so cheap... at least
www.lunarpages.com
www.ipowerweb.com
as the cheapest plan there starts at 7.95 or something...

on www.worldhosters.net 5,95 for year but it's not look to me to be long on the market as it's not yet even in search engines and design also not make it trustworthly in my eyes. anyway this deal have 150mb of bandwidth so it's only could be useful for some low traffic homepages... or to people who want to have headache worrying about bandwidth Grin

http://www.omnis.com looks relaible, it give you 1Gb monthly bandwidth, but it's has a catch as actually 1 dollar plan don't have nothing but space in it look yourself in more features page and you'll see that e.g. for PERL / PHP, or E-Mail you have to give 1 USD again... so in total it would be not so cheap... but it could be useful for people who know for sure that they'll not need e.g. mails or scritp support.

I got the two-year plan from Ipowerweb, so I only pay $5.95 a month. But the bummer with that is the fact that you have to pay up-front, not monthly. So if you've got the money on hand, it's a good investment, but otherwise...

They've also got great features like a great selection of CGI scripts, a chat room, a forum, a shopping cart, and some other stuff.

I said in another post that my mother was paying a $1 more each month for a service that didn't include any of that... And they were considered one of the 'cheaper' hosts a few years ago.

Of course, prices drop a lot it seems...

Actually, just checked out Worldhosters. Amazingly cheap!

They're just set up like they're ready to rip me off... I guess you can't judge a book by it's cover, but they don't look very reliable.
