Does "XPKey.exe" works to install a single legit "Windows XP
Professional Upgrade" original CD in a second and a third computer?

What if I already have installed "Windows XP Professional Upgrade"
in two computers, entering the same original product key in both?
Do I have to remove, format de hard drive, and perform a clean
install, to later enter a different product key number generated by
"XPKey.exe"?

Can I use "XPKey.exe" to re-activate a "Windows XP Professional"
already installed, but asking for a new activation after installing
The "Service Pack 1"? (please remember that I only have a single
Original Windows XP Professional Upgrade" CD)

BTW: What the "Remove Message" program does?

I'll appreciate any help you can give me, as I refuse to let
Microsoft take more money from me, after I had spent
fortunes purchasing most of the software they sell and
modify to sell us upgrades continuously.

Thanks in advance.
DigiXP.

Unfortunately, here is a link to the rules.

http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/sp2/proeula.mspx

Sp1 will be the same deal here.  Yep, only one install per machine.

You will be able to reinstall the win xp on the same machine that was originally activated, with no problem.

Myself, i just got tired of all the baloney, and went with linux.  You may wish to consider this as an option.  It really is a much better system than windows will ever be!!!!!

If I am not mistaken, the "Remove Message" program, once you go with it, is an online purchase of genuine windows.  I am not 100% sure, but am assuming this is what they would be up to. There is a program in place where, if you were unknowingly sold a counterfit version of windows, they will give you a copy of geniune windows. However, there is a catch, in that you must have reciepts and show where and who, you bought it from. Details i think are in the link above, I will take a look. If not will post a link to where I got this information from.
