Matt, I've installed this program after you've adviced it. Although I don't like MSN itself from times I've used Windows and don't like Tcl based programs for their interface and messy fonts, this one is awesome.
I still can't find good font for it, so maybe you, Matt, could tell me which one you're using for it?

As for skin installation I've tried it myself and didn't got any trouble, this is how I've done it. Maybe it be helpful.
1. started terminal as user
2. cd ~/.amsn/skins
3. cp /opt/Downloads_from_FireFOX/AQUA-0.95.zip .
(I've just copied file into skins directory so can unzip it later)
4. unzip AQUA-0.95.zip
5. just select new skin from menu and restart

Matt, if you tried do things same way and didn't work, give me error message you're gettning, maybe I have a clue what's wrong.

I got the skins and plugins figured out  and working okay. I still have a problem getting the webcam for it, set up. When you click on change webcam settings, it says currenly no devices are installed.  When I plug in the digital camera through the usb port, it finds it and runs approriate program. So don't think it is a usb problem...
  Any Ideas?

Matt, I didn't play with webcam on Linux as don't have one myself but from what I know not all cameras have open interfaces which let write drivers for them. I know there was some wrapper which let you to use windows driver under Linux but from what I know it was removed because of legal issues or something.
Maybe you can tell what camera model you have and I can tell you what I've find out about it and if how it could be setup?

It is an intel easy pc camera cs110. It seems to be listed in the usb devices, but does not seem to be assigned anywhere specific.
Took a look for a linux driver for it and there does not seem to be one. Guess i have to just figure out how to install a device
I realize this does not give you alot of info, but will try and copy some of the screens which will give a better idea of what is going on.
Thanks so much for your help!

Have noticed some gliches in the amsn, with respect to the plugins. If you setup the plus, the emoticons do not come up as you type.  The plus plugin is not a feature I am really concerned about, for it only adjusts your text, ex. bold, strike through, color etc. There is a button on the chat screen that already gives you an option to change this anyway. As well, the ink draw, you can see what you are drawing in your own chat window, but once sent to whom you are chatting with, nothing shows.  Other than this, it works wonderfully, and would not ever stop using it, just will send in the bug reports and hope they get it ironed out.
These features are not a big deal for me, as I don't use them anyway.  All in all, amsn was the main thing that allowed me to make the change from windows to linux, without alot of grief from the ol lady.  Wink
