The company I work for has over 800. Most of these are client domains.

Personally I have 2 domains both being used. I will probably be getting another one once I finish my personal site.

24 plus some free ones that refuse to go away  Grin Nearly all are being used. In the past I registered lots of others and let them expire. The number of sites I have made as experiments is ridiculuous. At least now I am consolidating and making some good solid sites.

The problem is, I often have this "great idea" and feel almost compelled to register a domain name the same day for it. Like the great inventors of the past, their is always someone else tuning in to your wavelength and getting a similar idea. So once the idea is spawned, it's a race to get the ideal domain name. Maybe I sound crazy, but that's the way I think  Roll Eyes I bet lot's of people can relate to this!

Once I have the idea, I can't stop myself, like a train with failed brakes and the driver slumped over the forward lever  Grin But it's great fun all the same. I wasted much more money on stocks and shares which I have no aptitude for. I don't feel I wasted any money on domain names, it was investing in my future to gain experience and start reaping rewards ahead of the onset of retirement.
