Could you give me more info about how to place affiliate links in your site to earn profit. I didn't earn anything from affiliate links.

The way to earn money from affiliate links is to do reviews of products and make recommendations. Then supply affiliate links to the product.

This is the only way that works unless you have a very high traffic site like Yahoo!

I also heard that it's best to market to non-marketing people who won't remove your affiliate ID because they don't know you will make a commission. Even though the price will be the same

Can't agree with u more on that.

Have a friend who do regular reviews on all the best portal, blog building tools out there and he is receiving a nice check from that as well.

Lately Google are clamping down on made-for-adsense sites and Adwords users who drive traffic to middle-man sites to get people to sign up to an email list for details of the site they hoped to visit after clicking the link. These sites are typically built using automated tools or tools that "scrape" free content from the web such as articles and RSS feeds. I heard about it from newsletters from the marketing Gurus who promote these tools. They are in a kind of panic. Not out of fear of themselves loosing revenue but how to work-around this problem to create more training seminars and tools to sell again.

The interesting thing for us people who bolt on adsense naturally to our sites is that the cost of Adwords is shooting up for the traffic middle-people by as much as 10x

So August should be a very interesting month to see if these cost increases are passed on to affiliates as increased revenue. Check your page eCPM

Well it seems that August was a very poorly performing month. In fact, somebody has even proclaimed The Death of Adsense

Well, the clock is ticking and the bells are clanging... as the end of the Death of adsense clock batteries expire. In case you don't know, it's a free download report about how earnings have plummeted for one guy who used to sit at the back row of seminars that were hosted by top internet gurus that told him to milk adsense for all it was worth. Of course, this approach ended in tears and he resigned himself to going back to basics and somehow managed to make 100x more income  I don't know what he did apart from junk all the adsense cheating methods he had been educated to use before. But what I do know is that he is going to give everyone a free download of what he actually did to make $50,000 per month. I would like to think that I could grasp just a smigen of his techique to at least add say $500 per month to my web-based income stream. Maybe you can do better?

I don't think the first installment has been pulled yet but I really recommend you read it. Yesterday I finished the second part that was also a free download.

After this I was moved to change my business strategy. Scott made so much sense. The way forward is to drive traffic to your site with PPC, monitor the conversions and market Paid for Action programs. The last bit I didn't fully understand since I know the big G doesn't like you driving traffic to a CPA page. So I have added my concern in Scott's feedback form.

What has shocked me most is the realization that your own product is essential in the coming years, or is it months? Building your own site and Blog is a crucial first step in getting a web presense but if you are purely an affiliate marketer then I think your days are numbered.

Scott's second installment eBook is the best information I have read in ages. It got me losing sleep and getting out of bed early to start work.
