Just to stir up trouble, I thought I would point out that I am getting snow blindness from this site  Wink

It's too bright. Needs darkening and more adventurous colors. Maybe that's because all my sites lately are dark shades.

What does everybody else think?

it's not bright in my opinion but rather using too contrast colors, I would try to use more subtle ones so they wouldn't put so much pressure on the eyes.

if you are not used to white sites it is pretty bright. Also, if you are not used to day light it is very bright. Dennis, in the next version on the site, you might want to try some warmer colors, move away fro mthe gray and into maybe a pale green or blue. It would be easier on the eyes of those who don't like day light like Andy.  Roll Eyes

It is on the light side, but I chose these colours because people were complaining about "too much blue" (With the 2nd version) and "too much dark" (With the first version.) So perhaps there is a perfect colour scheme that I haven't gotten my hands on yet. Wink

It's always good to change the design every once in a while. 'Freshens things up and gives people something different to look at.  When I have more time I might pick at my own brain a little and see if I can come up with any ideas. But for now, this is the highest user rated design the forum has had for awhile (Apparently most people like the lightness), so I'll stick with it until I come up with something better.

However, Denis, you're always welcome to give a shot at something new, too! Don't feel as if you (Or anyone else) would offend me by changing the design.

This is the best colour I have ever seen this forum in! Its looks very professional Smiley
However is is light as Andy says! I would like to see differant colours for sure, (just for a change) but if possible, keep the text Areas white or light!
I think where you write has to be lighter.
To me, dark sites look cheap! ( Please take no offence anyone) Just my opinion.

The glare bothers me also; don't think it's being white so much as it is glaring brightly.     But then, I use soft white light bulbs too, for those of you who know what I mean.

Daylight is not much of a problem; but again, glaringly bright sunlight bothers my eyes.    Hey, maybe I should wear my sunglasses when I come here.

Sorry Tamuril and Denis - just couldn't resist.    Grin
