On my web site I have huge section of fitness articles and of course, I am affiliate of one of famous fitness web site. But, I am very disappointed with them (I have about 7000 clicks without purchase!!!). I wonder what is wrong?
So, does anybody know some good fitness affiliate program with good % and lifetime cookies...? Is there any honest merchant?

Like you I find vendors of physical products poor performers in affiliate marketing. Often they only pay say 4% of sales commission and have poor sales conversion due to weak advertising materials such as banners. Unless you review equipment and strongly recommend it, it is hard to make sales.

I get good money from ClickBank products which usually pay at least 50% commission and convert well due to having good sales pages for your referrals to land on.

Check out the offers in the Sports section here: http://marketplace.clickbank.net/marketplace/ If you send them 7000 clicks you're going to make money for sure  Cool

I checked out your site and found you have plenty of quality pages so the problem seems to be with the merchants you are associating with.

These days I too found very poor conversions to sales from most affiliate programs. I already recommended clickbank but now I understand this is not really what you are looking for since the products are mostly eBooks with courses on building muscle and losing weight etc.

So the next idea I have is to disable the affliate links you have but keep the graphics  Cool

Next, step is to place PPC links under the graphics. This technique works very well according to what I read.

If you go to the bottom of my page http://www.urgentclick.com/ you can find out how I Monetized my site in the way I suggest  Wink
