I recently wrote a ten page guide on how to create a successful and popular website and I think most people would find it quite interesting and maybe pick up a tip or two... I'm constantly adding to it but at the moment I think it is quite comprehensive:

http://www.mobilephones100.com/web-site-promotion.html - corrected typo in url

Feel free to give me some feedback on it as well.

Hi Burta,

welcome to these forums and I hope you don't mind me moving your post to a more relevant area  Smiley

p.s. I have started reading your tutorial and find it very good and recommend everyone to read it. You have the same sort of idea as me about quality content.

One thing you didn't mention (at least so far in my reading) that I think may be useful is showing a lack of fear to link out to other useful resource sites. This may well help your site as being perceived as a more valuable resource.

I'll have to jot that down - because I also agree with linking other sites that are are of genuine use to your visitors. I'll add it to the guide next time I update it... its one of those working progresses. If you notice anything else you think I should add by all means mention it to me.

I sure will  Smiley I'm based in the far East so my time frame is well out of sync and I am pretty busy but I like the way you write about your genuine experience and am happy to help.

p.s. I noticed that you have some misspellings in some of your links between pages. As you probably know this is one of the worst SEO mistakes to make  Shocked
