I think most web hosting packages won't let you stream video because of the bandwidth problems. But Google let you upload video files to their servers for free  Smiley

So I'm thinking to try it out with a video of driving through narrow streets in Japan. I haven't filmed it yet but got the idea the other day.

http://video.google.com/ - there are a few hoops to jump through to get your video published but I think it's something well worth getting to grips with while it's easy and assuming you have a video capture device. I guess a web cam could do the job. In the near future, most sites will look dated without some kind of video on them I guess  Huh So now we have a great opportunity to learn the basics of video content delivery  Cool

My appologies to anyone still getting to grips with text delivery  Grin Time's a marching on....

just to note, that Video at Google is limited for access for some countries, e.g. I've tried to access few files other day and all of them was blocked for people outside US.
As for web cams, I'm asked frequently if I had one, actually I gladly use one and put it e.g. on my balcony or somwhere so people from around the world could see how wired life is here Grin But I'm not sure if I would be able to do it any soon, although prices maybe fall shortly or I can share only few images per day so it wouldn't cost me much...

Google Video is great. I don't have any of my own film at the moment, but at least it's within reach. Not to mention, it's a great time waster. Wink

I'd like to see that!

I find myself a little paranoid over the idea of people viewing me through 'live' film, so I have managed to stray away from that form of technology. It would be fun to see some shots of the Ukraine, however.

wasn't able to watch full video but from what I've seen it seems that city still have some traditional style buildings which is very fascinating in my opinion, I also wonder how to drive on such small streets, are they one way or used mostly for walking?

They are 2-way and quite alot of vehicles using them. You have to tuck into the side to get past. Many vehicles are narrower than in other countries.

I can understand some pay per click search engines and sites like that blocking other countries out side the US and the UK, but don't know why other sites block none US people.

BTW it's nice to see videos of places i've never been and might not ever get to go to.
