Hi Matt,

welcome to the forums.

I see these content re-publishing tools cropping up all the time.

One problem is that search engines (at least Google) spots duplicate content so you are wasting your time and money with tools like this in my opinion.

Of course you can use Wikipedia and other resources for research for your own articles but it is of paramount importance to create your own original content.

The other major problem is that you are falling into the trap of devaluing the web by supporting mass duplication of content for short-term gain. It's much better to learn something from an article and pass on the information in your own words to maybe make it more accessible to others. It's not difficult and will produce better results in the long term.

Allan Gardyne of http://www.AssociatePrograms.com, one of the most respected affiliate marketers online says basically what I am saying above i.e. only use these tools if you are going to highly personalise the content you acquire.

I'm totally agree to things said by Andy! you can make money of this but only if you post your own original content and it would be constantly updating.

What i have been wondering about is if you have large supply of content like articles of your own and used some thing to bring those articles into your site as updated content then the search engines would see your site as getting fresh content often and raise your ranking. Does anyone know if this http://www.wikifetcher.com, could be used like this?
