This poll is about when you post a message on this forum.

I can't explain very good, but i would start a new topic or reply to a thread and add my text. Everything would be ok up to this point and then once i post the message, i get a blank page for just over 3 seconds before the page shows again and everything is back to normal.

That's what happens every time i post a new message or reply on this message board. It's not like everything around the forum is slowing down, it's just when i post a message.

How is the board for you ?

Graham, would you mind to move this question to public board as maybe there more members would spot it and can leave their feedback?
Myself I never experienced such a problem, overall posting from hitting "Post" button takes about 1 second but it happen so on any forum I'm participating. There are blank screen period but it's take only some millesecond and is very hard to spot(I never actually seen it before you didn't point about it). So right nw I believe that it's maybe browser related problem...
I'm looking forward to hear more responces, maybe we can find out what's causing this error.

BTW it doesn't bother me about the small wait when posting, but i just thought i'd ask if others had the same thing happen to them.

Oh and i'm on fast cable broadband internet using IE6.

I really had not noticed such a delay so I thought I would reply here and see if there was any delay.

Nope no delay for me.

I haven't noticed any delay either... But I'm on a pretty good connection, so maybe I wouldn't notice anyhow. I have been to other forums in the past where I have experienced what Graham is talking about, however.

Hi Denis, yes I had a very nice holiday season. I hope all of my friends here at Webmaster Key did also.

Back on topic, I still use Firefox 1.0.7 for all except testing and I am still watching but seeing no delay.

I'm glad to see you again, Sue! Hope you had great XMas and New Year?
Now I even more sure that it's IE related, I'll try to install IE through Wine and see if it would have same lag or not.

I am posting this reply using IE7 to see if there is a delay.

Yes there was of about 1 or 2 seconds.

Will next try IE 5.01.

This is from IE 5.01

It also has the delay.

Trying Firefox again

No delay

I am now trying Opera.

That was odd Opera just hung up for a couple minutes so I will try again.

No delay that time and no hang up.
