If ONLY There Is NO IF

It is hard to believe that no matter
how much you have tried to make
your headline or subject line to be
impressive and almost very decisive
for any reader to open up your mail
and read, there is always some glitches
that might have been over looked or
overused from time to time again.

After years of observing all sorts of
email marketing techniques, I have
discovered the reasons why most emails
were not read by many subscribers.

Not to mention about any spam filter
softwares that filtered out any emails
that have words or phrases that can be
programmed by the users so that it will
be in the trashed bin automatically or
be deleted once the emails are sent,
what I have disclosed is, many email
accounts' holders from any domains
have a common dislike for words and
phrases such as these (even though
they might have slipped through the
software);

Free
Guarantee
Money
Multi Level Marketing
Income
Work At Home
Bonus
Cash Bonus
Gift Certificate
Make Money
No Investment
No Selling
No Recruiting
Direct Selling
This Is Not Spam
Serious Cash
Financial Freedom
Financial Independence
You Have Won
etc

Inserting adult related words and phrases
are the biggest disliked of all..

Secondly, email receivers are more afraid
to open any .pdf or .exe attachments. This
is obviously because they do not want their
PC to be corrupted by any adwares or spywares
or even worse - the back-door trojan horse
viruses even though they know you could be
a trustworthy source.

If we value of subscribers, we must value
their trust. But once the trust is broken by
some irresponsible spoofers or spammers
out there that use your domain name to
get their work done, your subscribers will
abandon their email accounts leaving you
with nothing but an aimless email marketing
that lands on 'no-mans-land' inboxes.

Some email marketers use an added
character(s) in between those words and
phrases such as /,.,$,etc. For e.g.,

f.ree
f/r/e/e
G-u-a-r-a-n-tee
M0NEY (subs. the letter O with 0 as in number)

Great job!

You think you have worked it out don't you?

Honestly, if you want to be trusted, why do
you type words like that to your subscribers.
To my opinion, you're making a fool of yourself
and make your emails look rather unprofessional.

And by doing so, you've mocked your subscribers
intelligent and deceiving them with such words or
phrases so as to get your email being read.

The bottom line is, make sure for every first
email you send to your first-timer subscribers,
there is at least a way to keep and restrain them
from subscribing out too soon.

Isn't any "email marketing "spam"? Personally, I think it is-

In the postal service we call it "junk mail".

On the internet, it's spam.

I won't do it-ever!

This is almost humorous, in sad way.

I normally don't subscribe out, unless I find the e-mails to be annoying or uneducational. But I guess this is why cliched 'spam' keywords are strongly advised against-- These e-mails just look annoying before you even open them.

Well, it depends on whether or not the user subscribed to the e-mails or not. Spam is unsolicited, while these e-mails may be sent per user request. Though sometimes people tend to forget that they subscribed to a certain mailing list, and consequently, pin it as spam because they don't realize that the subscription was legitimate.

I have also received e-mails for marketings 'pretending' that I had actually subscribed when I hadn't, and simply harvested my e-mail for more spam once I acted to opt-out. Spammers love nothing more than active accounts.

Putting characters in between words thus make
people to click hypnotically, and it works brilliantly
if you know how to use it in a proper decent manner.

For e.g, the word free.

Many email marketers like to place the . or / or -
in between.

This works perfectly as it seems, but the problem
arises when too many of such .,/ or - is use thru'out
the message will render a devastating mess!

What we're talking about here is the first-timer
subscriber.

This bunch of people is the ones who can either
be your future prospects or customers or referers.

I guess, we won't do silly message to them right?
