The routmaster bus made it's last journey today down London's Oxford street. 3.5 hour queue. Expect the tickets on eBay soon.

Buy 'em now for investment! I saw one today in somebodies back yard, now I know why they bought it.

it's a pity to hear that these buses leave London streets, they are really was a London visit card(I never was in London BTW) and I was always curious to ride on the second floor to see how the streets look like from such height. If I would be major I'd leave some of them just for tourists, although I said before I never was in London so maybe there is no need in them actually and there are too much to see for tourists even without bus

You will have to go to Tokyo. They have an open-top double-decker London bus doing sight-seeing tours around the city "city bus"  Cheesy Catch the bus outside the central station.

Actually, there were London tour buses operating, I expect they would keep going.
