Denis,

I have a suggestion for the forum.  I think that some navigation links should be added to the bottom of the page similar to what you see on the top. i.e. Home-Help-Search-Profile-Calendar

I know that sometimes when I'm viewing an especially long thread and I want to return to the home page, I have to scroll to the very top of the page to do so sometimes.

It's just a suggestion, something to think about.

P.S. I was going to add a poll to see what the other Key Keepers thought but I got this error message:

Guess I don't have permission to do that?  LOL

Thanks for your suggestions, Jamie, I've fixed your permissions so you can add poll now(I think that members with low post count should be able to post polls as well but I wasn't aware that they couldn't before you said about this). As for very long threads do you seen "Go Up" button at the right corner of the page or you was aware of it and having menu would still be nice addition?

OK, see how observant I am?  LOL.  I didn't even notice it.  However, once I click it, it stills take 6 clicks of my scroll wheel and a click on the "home" link.  Personally, I would prefer both but that is just me being picky...and lazy lol.

Hmm maybe it have sense, I'll think if it could be done optionally so people could select whenever they need it visible or not.

Like I said, it's a personal preference and mostly just b/c I'm lazy so no worries if you can't make it happen or if you don't want to.  Thanks for considering it though.  You're awesome!

Still unable to do so, LOL

Was going to be similiar to this:

Which would you prefer?

1- Just "UP" link [as it is currently]
2- Just navigational links at bottom
3- Both "up" and navigational links at bottom
4- No preference either way

I would vote for #3

Any of the other Key Keepers have comments on this?

I would like to ask, where would be logical way to place menu(I mean physical place e.g. just before quick reply box or after it or somwhere else). And would it be ok to post this menu
"
+ Webmaster Key - Discussion Forums
|-+ Key Keepers Realm
| |-+ General Discussion Board (Key Keepers Only)
| | |-+ Site Suggestion: Navigation Links at Bottom of Page"
or buttons would work better?

I would post it directly after the quick reply, prior to the partners listing.  I would think that the menu you posted would be appropriate as that would allow navigation through the forums above where you are instead of just to the home page.  Good thinking.

Jamie and Andy, I'm glad to present you with the bottom menu Wink I've made it in one line so it wouldn't break whole design a lot. But if someone find that it's not necessary, please let me know and I'll try to make it optional.
And I'm waiting for more suggestions Wink

Denis, the menu is alright, but somehow I like the idea of having this

+ Webmaster Key - Discussion Forums
|-+ Key Keepers Realm
| |-+ General Discussion Board (Key Keepers Only)
| | |-+ Site Suggestion: Navigation Links at Bottom of Page"

at the bottom instead. It seems more consistent. I'm not sure, but the long list of links kind of bothers me the way it is...

Also, on Opera the links are different sizes. I'm not really sure why, either...

Hey Rachel! it's nice to see you back, how are you doing? Hope we'll see you more frequently from now?
As for menu, the one mentioned by you looks a bit large IMHO and breaks design, but I can post it if other also prefer this type of menu. As for problems wiht Opera I'll try to see what's the problem, maybe it's because I've change color of Key Keepers board...

Hey Denis, I just finished finals a few days ago so hopefully I'll have more time to relax and visit the forums. The break will be nice!

Honestly, the links don't bother me that much... And I don't think enough people use Opera to make the change that big of a difference any way.

Congratulation with passing finals! I hope you'll appear more frequently from now Smiley As you may see we have some great return of Jamie and I've talk few days ago with Matt999, he promise to appear on boards soon, he's missing our community.
can you let me know what words have different sizes or even make screenshot? is it Key Keeprs Realm looks different or other boards as well?

Thanks, Denis... I'm glad they're all over with now! Wink
Here are screenshots of the text inconsistencies I was talking about. They appear to be a problem with other boards as well.

this suggestion is done as well, does it works better than previous type of menu?
Also what about Opera bug, have it gone or not?
